According to it, the fashion industry is the second-largest consumer of water and is responsible for generating 20% of the world’s wastewater. Not just that, the process leads to 8-10% of global carbon emissions. And if it continues, the industry’s greenhouse gas emissions will exceed 50% by 2030.
